I update my firmware with correct version 30/06 and mp3 files again not reading? What combination is for engineering menu in the new firmware version. Now and CD's and DVD's not reading.

Then it could be your update was not for this Comand system. Are you sure to use the right one? The NTG1 can still read mp3 and mp3 DVDs/CDs after updating, which was important for the navigation module.

Have you tried to switch off the batterie cable and wait at least 2 hours? Maybe this helps.

If not, you can go to your MB Dealer or someone with the StarDiagnose system. They must restart the audio ring in the system, the only way that the system is really updating all parts in it.

The worst case would be to search a company who is specialised on repairing those systems if all those don´t helps. It often appears because of wrong firmware update CDs which were for other car models.

I install correctly firmware update. I'm not tried to switch off the batterie cable and wait at least 2 hours. I have StarDiagnose system, I must restart fiber optical system?

Yes start the ring new. If this not helps, make a diagnostic round and then the system give you the information about a working Comand or not. If not I am afraid it is broken and needs to be repaired.

Everything is working. It was necessary to write CD in special mode mp3 and now comand reads mp3 files. Thank you.

Great.
I burn every DVD as normal ISO DVD with Nero, lowest speed, works great. The system don´t like red and green colors on the laser side.

Do you enable picture in motion? Or some else functions?

No, no when you write the CD's. Do you activate some else function in egineering mode on Comand or only enable mp3?

With Software version 30/06 Engineering Mode is only available with StarDiagnose which I don´t have. MP3 was activated before and after the update of my system from standard. Picture in Motion - don´t know if yes or know, can´t remember to see that point before updating.
